Recently I went on a ski vacation with my family but since my stroke I’ve decided to seek my peace and centeredness. I didn’t ski and still I took in the natural beauty. There was a wonderful spa at the resort. The above picture is my view from the quiet sitting room where I’m sipping peppermint tea while snuggled under a fleece blanket and crocheting. Gentle piano music is playing in the background and I don’t have a care in the world. Just looking at this picture brings back the calming experience. All my senses were engaged here; all working together to create a full body retreat.
